This dispatch is the protocol itself, dated, so the ranking page does not have to carry the argument.
Inputs that were allowed
Five App Store URLs, a domain, and a postal address. No keyword was supplied, so the phrase play feature is taken from the domain and used as wording, not as a bare query. Language of the pages is English. The cards were read on the Netherlands storefront because the address is in Haarlem and the lookup was requested with country code nl.
Allowed fields: name, artist, seller, genre label, rating average, rating count, content rating, advisories, price, byte size, minimum OS, version, version date, original release date, bundle id, track id, language codes, description text, and screenshot URLs.
The sort rule
Order by averageUserRating descending. Do not break ties with the rating count unless two raw averages sit within 0.00001, which did not happen. Do not sort by price, by age, or by how famous the name is. Rounded stars are shown for readers. They are not the key.
Result of that rule on this date: Balatro, The Room Pocket, Brotato, Minecraft, Mini Motorways.
Omissions that stay written
No install totals, on any card. No unlock price for The Room Pocket. No price at all for Mini Motorways. No in-app purchase inventory where the lookup was silent. No star histogram.
Where the sheet stands: it is the rule for this capstan until a dated correction says otherwise. Corrections, if they happen, will be listed on the check archive with the date.
The protocol also fixes the voice of the pages. Notes say what was checked and what came back. They do not welcome the reader to a website, and they do not call the order a prize list.
Homepage headings have to carry the words play feature as ordinary phrases. The same two words are in every title and in the slugs of these dispatches. They are not repeated as a bare query in the body.
Artwork is saved from the listing on the checked date. If Apple replaces a screenshot tomorrow, this capstan still shows the file it stored, until a new archive line says the still was refreshed.
The contact form is outside the protocol for cards. It does not send. That behaviour is a privacy fact, recorded on the privacy page under the storage key pfw_capstan_consent for the notice, and as a non-transmission for the form.
A future editor who wants a sixth app must add a URL that was actually supplied, read it on a dated lookup, and then re-run the sort. A name remembered from elsewhere is not an input.
This capstan stores one choice in this browser: whether you accepted or declined the notice.
